They say that into every life rain must fall. My rainstorm came in the form of a stroke and two heart attacks; that greatly changed my life. After 30 years my husband and I decided to relocate from Jamestown ND back to Minot ND. We had plans to have my elderly father move in with us so we needed to look for a home with bedrooms on the opposite end of the home to give us all privacy. Joyce was very willing to show us homes that we had driven by as we were on a very tight schedule. Joyce is a very kind person. She meets all your viewing needs. Even though she had just gone through a medical personal issue she still took the time for us as friends drove her around so we could view homes. Mother of three children and grandmother of 10 grandchildren (non of which live in ND). Retired 31 year Civilian for the Air Force. Mainly in the capacity of Financial Manager or Budget Officer. For 5 years my husband and I farmed and raised 520 head of cattle and 75,000 turkeys in Indiana. During this time I took a leave of absence from the government and worked as Secretary to the Principal of the Junior High School. During my Civilian career I worked and lived in Kansas City, Mo; Washington, IN; Minot, ND (with Space Command); Minneapolis, MN (Air Force Reserve Base); and Washington DC area (Office of Special Investigations). Retired from the Federal Government June 2003 and moved back to my hometown of Minot to be with family. I have been a Realtor since April 2004 and have been under the same Broker the entire time. Designations Earned: GRI, ABR, CRS 2015 President of the Minot Board of Realtors and past secretary and President Elect. Received the honor of being selected as “Realtor of the Year” in 2014. Member of the North Dakota Board of Realtors. Active Member of St John’s Catholic Church and involved in several committees , including the Financial Committee and a Lector. Former Board of Director of the Hooterville Flion Lions and past president and secretary. I enjoy spending some of my winter in AZ and being able to continue working while enloying some sunshine.
